Biography
With a unique and distinctive voice, Nottingham singer Campbell Bass brings a smooth charismatic style to his performances adding a touch of panache to any event! Born in 60s Nottingham, Campbell started singing with his school and church choirs and was exposed to a musical revolution that continued into the 70’s and 80’s.
His inspirations came from a host of iconic singers, an eclectic mix of jazz and soul vocalists from Mel Tormé and Ella Fitzgerald to Sam Cooke and Glady’s Knight plus many more, enabling him to create a sophisticated vibe that draws his audience into his performance as they listen to him sing not just those timeless classics, but his own contemporary arrangements of some of today’s top artists!
Turning professional in 2004, he has performed throughout the UK, Europe and America, working alongside some top names within the business whilst enjoying guest spots on BBC, Smooth, Gem 106 and Capital FM radio.
